The SMIs' first aid training really comes in handy, especially during Humana
Work side by side with Equity stage managers, directors, and actors. Be involved in the entire rehearsal and performance process for mainstage productions. Work with visiting companies and directors. Serve as production stage manager for at least one Apprentice/Intern production. Stage Management Intern positions are a part of the Equity Membership Candidacy program. The experience that I have had in the Actors Theatre internship has definitely been a good one. I couldn’t have asked for any better experience and I feel like it has prepared me for a future in stage management. Having not gone to school for theatre, I was worried about not being prepared enough for the internship. Working here I was never scared to ask any of the stage managers questions and they were always helpful with everything.
